Trust and Self-Trust - Respect and Self-Respect - Life and Relationship

Trust is the basement, the pillars and the roof for oneself and for relations. Trust builds relationship and holds relationship together. Trust goes hand in hand with the integrity of the partners and is what makes a meaningful and confident relationship.

Self-trust is trusting blindly, trusting implicitly oneself - stopping to questioning oneself - starts with understanding and goes on with believing in oneself.

Trust in a relationship is similar from my viewpoint - Trust is like putting a part of yourself in someone else's hands. Therefore, it is difficult for some people to gain trust in friendship or relationship. 

I am sure I don't have to go into any detail or example - as sometimes we experience disappointments or betrayals - when this happens, we lose faith.
I firmly believe that we have to trust in us and others, otherwise a good life and relationship becomes impossible or so hard that life becomes only existence. It leads me to conclude that sincere, trusting behaviors and relationships are essential to mental health and good life.

Trust and Respect

Trust and Respect are both something we all deserve - and both are something we can earn little by little and lose in the blink of an eye.
We all deserve respect and trust - but it needs to be cultivated and fostered. Respect is like a gift that we give to each other, it makes us feel valuable and important - and the same relation which self-trust and trust have - a similar relation I see in self-respet and respect.
But there’s a common misconception that certain people deserve respect just because they’re in a position of “power.” We’re told from an early age that we must respect our elders, our teachers, our law enforcers, all the way up to our president. Along with that, we’re told that we need to trust that they know what’s best for us. 

The most beautiful thing about trust is the precious feeling of being worthy of receiving it from people we love.

Trust is the firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of yourself, someone or something. It is the feeling of safety that you should feel when you think about yourself and which you have when you think of a certain person
