160th Anniversary Alice in Wonderland
During a boating trip on the Thames, Lewis Carroll spontaneously wrote a story for a young girl named Alice: "Alice in Wonderland." It was a book that would shape literary history. Today, 160 years ago, Carroll presented the handwritten manuscript to the girl. The story of young Alice is much more than a children's adventure for me. It was and still is one of the stories that captivate and inspire me to dream. Alice broke the rules of convention and didactic children's literature.
