Pink Floyd’s The Wall has its 45th Anniversary

My God is it really already 45 years ago? That Pink Floyd recorded "The Wall," their album, in December 1978 - yes it is..

No matter how deeply buried your own feelings are, you'll find yourself seeking for them again since it's such a masterful portrayal of human nature. You'll be astonished at how much better you feel just looking at them, especially with Pink Floyd's assistance. The Wall is criticized by many for being gloomy and dismal. It's nice that everyone has different opinions, and I assume most people didn't listened to the album very carefully. Still, I find it to be encouraging and motivational. You'll love it if you listen to it on your own, I promise.

Almost every night when I was younger and going through a difficult period, I would listen to this album from beginning to end. Not only was the album's message healing, but the music was too. I recently listened to it for the first time in a long time, and it soon brought tears to my eyes. It occurred to me that I should write about it.

In The Wall, "the wall" refers to the mental wall we erect to keep our emotions and anxieties hidden. It explains that the "bricks" of this wall are society's contributions to the shame we experience. At times, it can be frightening and violent. However, what's the deal? not as cruel and challenging as the actual world is and can be. But after or despite all walls - We have to build bridges more bridges for us and other - as we already have too many walls. Step out of the history that is holding you back. Step into the new story you are willing to create.
To relive, to comprehend, to understand this album, the songs, you have to give it your full attention. If you don't really listen to it, it won't give you what it can give you. Every word matters ... listen, listen carefully - and enjoy - and grow.

If you're feeling lost, alone, or confused, talk to someone about it. And also, listen to The Wall, it may bring you some clarity.
