Uplifting Songs - On Blue Monday

Blue Monday rolls around every year on the third Monday in January. The meaning of this day is filled with controversy because it is supposedly the saddest day of the year. Many of us find ourselves in subzero weather this time of year, which day might be better to share a few uplifting songs?

As I already shared before, I am a firm believer that music and dancing affects our brain, mood and emotions.

Music is known to tap into various parts of the brain, that is why it is utilized by many experts in treating depressed or anxious patients.
Johnny Cash once said ‘They're powerful, those songs. At times they've been my only way back, the only door out of the dark, bad places the black dog calls home.’

Here is a link to a video which explains the 'Black Dog' and now the uplifting songs I like to share with you.

Phil Collins - It's Alright

Peter Gabriel - Don't Give Up

Talk Talk - Life's What You Make It

Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Relax

Pearl Jam - Alive

Journey - Don't Stop Believin'

Bon Jovi - Livin' On A Prayer

And if none of these worked for you - for sure this one will  - It might sound crazy what I′m about to say - Sunshine is here, you can take a break and be happy ...

Pharrell Williams - Happy
