The World Mental Health Day is an international day of awareness and action. It has been recognized since 1992, as mental health activists and practitioners across the world work to spread the word that mental health is something everyone should care about.
The day was initially created by the World Federation of Mental Health.

Many people - most people get challenged, or depressed at one point or another throughout their lives.
Whether it’s caused by a challenging moment in life, whether it is privately or business, or environmental stress, or mental illness, feelings of depression can become difficult for many people. Unfortunately some people get so depressed as a result of their situation, or mental illness or life circumstances, that they find themselves at a certain point in a hole, or a blind or dead-end road / situation, or even consider suicide as an option to escape from their emotional pain.

I had a number of challenging moments, experience and time of life I was and I am able to live well without them 😊 on the other hand - after all these high and low tides in my life I learned or became to the conclusion that one optional / possible cure for a bad day is to make a cup of coffee or tea, having a good piece of cake, take a deep breath, and believe and hope that tomorrow is better again. Challenging moments and change is an inevitable part of life. It happens whether we’re ready or not.

If you’re interested to directly help others in times of crisis, you should consider getting trained and certified in a mental health first aid course.
Mental Health First Aid offers in-person courses around the world, led by two certified instructors. Participants will learn how to help someone experiencing a mental health crisis by identifying, understanding, and responding to signs of addiction or mental health conditions.

And I like to share a quote by Barack Obama:

“To anyone out there who’s hurting — it’s not a sign of weakness to ask for help. It’s a sign of strength.”

Final word ...

Life often gets tough, but just remember: You can handle anything. Calm mind brings inner strength and self-confidence, so that's very important for a good life.
